The years roll on as ever and 2011 has just arrived as I write this. Last year was once again full of milestones as most years seem to be.

We celebrated Amy’s 21st and Daniel’s 18th during summer and it was great to have many friends and family around on a sunny day in July. The average life expectancy for children with Sanfillipo, which Amy and Daniel have, is around fourteen years, so we are especially thankful to God for each day we have with them. Amy is still at a special college financed by both social services and education. She is there with others she knows and the transition has been very smooth - and her smile is as infectious as ever! Daniel is in his final year at school so we are busy working out what is next for him.

Hannah works down in Leicester as a paediatric Physio - working with lots of special needs children, which she thoroughly enjoys. Josh is in his second year at university down in London.

Amy & Daniel continue to keep us busy having to provide care for them 7 days a week and 24 hours a day (apart from when they are school / college) . It’s tough, but God is good and His grace is sufficient for all our needs. Our hope and confidence continues to be in Him.
